An
Instant access saving account is a savings account that
lets you get to the money when you want, you don't have
to give notice (in some other savings accounts you may have
to give 30 days notice to withdraw funds) and can withdraw
the money instantly.
You
are able to add money as and when you have it or set up
a regular payment such as a standing order or direct debit
from your main account.
The
interest rates for instant access accounts are usually less
than you can get from other savings accounts where you can't
get at your money quite so quickly or easily. However you
should be able to get a fairly decent rate.
With some accounts, the rate of interest is dependent on
how much money there is in the instant savings account.
The higher this ammount is then the higher the rate of interest
usually is!
